Nonstandard methods of completing quasi-uniform spaces
A rather general method of constructing T2-completions of a quasi-uniform space is given. Using it we show that a sufficient condition for a quasi-uniform space to have a T2-completion is that the quasi-uniformity contains a compatible uniformity.

Infinite games and quasi-uniform box products
We introduce new infinite games, played in a quasi-uniform space, that generalise the proximal game to the framework of quasi-uniform spaces. We then introduce bi-proximal spaces, a concept that generalises proximal spaces to the quasi-uniform setting ...

Lens Antenna Arrays for THz Superconducting HEB Mixers: A Review and a Metasurface Coupling Approach [PDF]
Terahertz hot electron bolometer (HEB) mixers, which offer the highest sensitivity in the frequency range above 1.5 THz, are equipped on space observatories to detect the terahertz radiation emitted from the interstellar medium within galaxies.

Completeness in Quasi-Pseudometric Spaces—A Survey
The aim of this paper is to discuss the relations between various notions of sequential completeness and the corresponding notions of completeness by nets or by filters in the setting of quasi-metric spaces.

Τ-quasi-Cauchy spaces - a non-symmetric theory of completeness and completion
Based on the concept of Cauchy pair Τ-filters, we develop an axiomatic theory of completeness for non-symmetric spaces, such as Τ-quasi-uniform (limit) spaces or L-metric spaces.

On precompact (quasi-) uniform structures
The following are shown: (1) The subbasis theorem on precompactness does not hold even in uniform spaces. (2) The supremum of (even finitely many) precompact quasi-uniform structures is not necessarily precompact. (3) A compact quasi-uniform space is not

On uniformly locally compact quasi-uniform hyperspaces [PDF]
summary:We characterize those Tychonoff quasi-uniform spaces $(X,\mathcal {U})$ for which the Hausdorff-Bourbaki quasi-uniformity is uniformly locally compact on the family $\mathcal {K}_{0}(X)$ of nonempty compact subsets of $X$. We deduce, among other

Weak completeness of the Bourbaki quasi-uniformity
The concept of semicompleteness (weaker than half-completeness) is defined for the Bourbaki quasi-uniformity of the hyperspace of a quasi-uniform space.
