Some Results on Quasi-Uniform Spaces
Constructions are made of a T1 space which does not have a T1 completion and of a quasi-uniform space which is complete, but not strongly complete. An example relating to a completion due to Popa is given. An alternate definition for Cauchy filter, called C-filter, is examined and a construction of a C-completion is given.

On (L, M)-fuzzy quasi-uniform spaces
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2007Let \(L,M\) be completely distributive lattices. For each set \(X\), \(H(L^X)\) denotes the set of all join-preserving functions \(d:L^X\to L^X\) such that \(A\leq d(A)\) for all \(A\in L^X\). An \((L,M)\)-quasi-uniformity on a set \(X\) is a map \(H(L^X)\to M\) subject to certain conditions.

Hyperspace of a fuzzy quasi-uniform space [PDF]
[EN] The aim of this paper is to present a fuzzy counterpart method of constructing the Hausdorff quasi-uniformity of a crisp quasi-uniformity. This process, based on previous works due to Morsi [25] and Georgescu [9], allows to extend probabilistic and ...

Quasi-uniform completions of partially ordered spaces [PDF]
In this paper we define partially ordered quasi-uniform spaces (X, U, ≤) (PO-quasi-uniform spaces) as those spaces with a biconvex quasi-uni- formity U on the poset (X, ≤) and give a construction of a (transitive) biconvex compatible quasi-uniformity on ...

Completeness of Hutton [0, 1]-quasi-uniform spaces
Fuzzy Sets Syst., 2007Starting with the fuzzy metric space introduced by George and Veeramani, the authors next consider the Hutton \([0,1]\)-quasi-uniformity induced by the said fuzzy metric space. The basic consideration here is the completeness of Hutton \([0,1]\)-quasi-uniform space. In the process, the authors define the concept of stratified and tight Cauchy \([0,1]\)-

Recursive Algorithm to Verify Quasi-Uniform Entropy Vectors and its Applications
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 2021It is of central interest in information theory to determine whether a given vector in the entropy space is an almost entropic vector. This problem can be answered if all the information inequalities are known, but this is an extremely challenging ...

Embeddings of matrix algebras into uniform Roe algebras and quasi-local algebras
Journal of the European Mathematical Society (Print), 2023We answer the recent problem posed by Baudier, Braga, Farah, Vignati, and Willett that asks whether the \ell_{\infty} -direct sum of the matrix algebras embeds into the uniform Roe algebra or the quasi-local algebra of a uniformly locally finite
