General viscosity approximation methods for quasi-nonexpansive mappings with applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study the general viscosity approximation methods for quasi-nonexpansive mappings in the setting of infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. Under suitable conditions, we prove that the sequences generated by the

A Generalization of Generalized Quasi-variational Inequalities

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1994
Using a variant of a fixed point theorem of \textit{C. J. Himmelberg} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 38, 205-207 (1972; Zbl 0225.54049)] the author generalizes certain results due to \textit{W. K. Kim} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 103, No. 2, 667-668 (1988; Zbl 0656.49004)] to acyclic functions. Furthermore, he proves an infinite-dimensional version of the generalized

Indicators from training healthcare providers on WHO‐recommended best practices in prenatal care in Brazil: A before‐and‐after study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To analyze prenatal indicators of management, process, and obstetrical outcomes, before and after training healthcare providers on the WHO recommendations for best evidence‐based practices. Methods A quasi‐experimental before‐and‐after operational study was conducted from January to July 2022.

Existence of solutions and star-shapedness in Minty variational inequalities [PDF]

open access: yes
Minty variational inequalities have proven to define a stronger notion of equilibrium than Stampacchia variational inequalities. This conclusion leads to argue that some regularity, e.g.

Internal approximation of quasi-variational inequalities

open access: yesNumerische Mathematik, 1991
An abstract quasi-variational inequality introduced by \textit{A. Bensoussan} and \textit{J. L. Lions} [C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. A 276, 1189-1192 (1973; Zbl 0266.49007)], is considered. From the proof of the existence and uniqueness of the solution a fixed point algorithm is derived and its convergence is demonstrated.

Children's psychological traits and educational performance: How schools and residential areas moderate how individual traits translate into academic outcomes

open access: yesJCPP Advances, EarlyView.
Abstract Background The extent to which children's psychological traits influence their educational performance is thought to depend on the fit between the individual and their developmental context. However, this assumption has yet to be empirically tested on a population scale.

The Rise of Human–Computer Integration in Marketing: A Theory Synthesis

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Human–computer integration (HCInt) technologies, which merge human bodily, cognitive, and sensory functions with computational processes, are reshaping the foundations of consumer experience. Unlike traditional human–computer interaction, HCInt entails adaptive and reciprocal coupling through AI‐driven augmentation, wearables, muscle–computer ...
