Board Gender Diversity and Environmental Credit Risk in Banking: A Global Study of Bank Governance
ABSTRACT This study investigates the relationship between board gender diversity and environmental credit risk in the global banking sector. Using a panel dataset of 345 publicly listed banks from 75 countries over the period 2018–2022, we find that greater female representation on bank boards is significantly associated with lower environmental credit

α-Well-Posedness for Mixed Quasi Variational-Like Inequality Problems
The concepts of α-well-posedness, α-well-posedness in the generalized sense, L-α-well-posedness and L-α-well-posedness in the generalized sense for mixed quasi variational-like inequality problems are investigated.

We consider an equilibrium problem for an elastic body with a crack, on the faces of which unilateral non-penetration conditions and Coulomb friction are realized. This problem can be formulated as quasi-variational inequality.

A Critical Analysis of Microsoft's Rhetoric and Reality of Sustainability Engagement
ABSTRACT This study critically examines Microsoft's environmental, social and governance (ESG) rhetoric and operational reality, to offer insights that extend beyond conventional greenwashing or bluewashing. Drawing on over 20 years of Microsoft's sustainability reports (2003–2024), third‐party ESG evaluations and media investigations, it employs ...

Optimal model‐based design of experiments for parameter precision: Supercritical extraction case
Abstract This study investigates the process of chamomile oil extraction from flowers. A parameter‐distributed model consisting of a set of partial differential equations is used to describe the governing mass transfer phenomena in a cylindrical packed bed with solid chamomile particles under supercritical conditions using carbon dioxide as a solvent ...

Minty variational inequalities, increase-along-rays property and optimization [PDF]
Let E be a linear space, K E and f : K ? R. We put in terms of the lower Dini directional derivative a problem, referred to as GMV I(f ,K), which can be considered as a generalization of the Minty variational inequality of differential type (for short ...

On general quasi-variational inequalities
AbstractA new class of general quasi-variational inequalities involving two operators is introduced and studied. Using essentially the projection operator technique, we establish the equivalence between the general quasi-variational inequalities and the fixed-point problem and the Wiener–Hopf equations.
