Multi‐Mode Deep Strong Coupling in a Multi Quantum Well Fabry–Perot Cavity

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Multi‐mode deep‐strong coupling is demonstrated in a 166‐well heterostructure that acts as a Fabry–Perot cavity. Even cavity modes couple strongly to the cyclotron resonance, producing large vacuum Rabi splittings and a rich polaritonic spectrum captured by a full Hopfield model.

Design of a three-phase, 15-kilovolt-ampere static inverter for motor-starting a Brayton space power system [PDF]

open access: yes
The design of a three-phase, 400-Hz, 15-kVA static inverter for motor-starting the 2- to 15-kWe Brayton electrical space power system is described. The inverter operates from a nominal 56-V dc source to provide a 28-V, rms, quasi-square-wave output.
