Four quasi-Z-Source inverters

2008 IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2008
In this paper, theoretical results are shown for several novel inverters. These inverters are similar to the Z-source inverters presented in previous works, but have several advantages, including in some combination; lower component ratings, reduced source stress, reduced component count and simplified control strategies.

Tapped inductor quasi-Z-source inverter

2012 Twenty-Seventh Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2012
This paper proposes a high inversion gain single stage boost inverter, which introduces a tapped inductor network into the traditional quasi-Z-source inverter (qZSI), called tapped inductor quasi-Z-source inverter (TL-qZSI). The tapped inductor network including one tapped inductor and two diodes and is used to replace one inductor of the traditional ...

Dual-Source High-Performance Active Switched Quasi-Z-Source Inverter for Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicles

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2023
To lower the circuit complexity and required space, and to prolong the lifetime of the hybrid energy storage system, a Z-source inverter (ZSI) topology is a suitable substitute for the traditional two-stage ones and has drawn attention in fuel cell (FC ...

New capacitor assisted quasi Z-source inverter

IECON 2017 - 43rd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2017
In this paper, a new quasi Z-source inverter based on new capacitor basic units (CAQZSI) is proposed. It is possible to develop the proposed topology by using n numbers of the basic units that is one of the main advantages of the proposed CAQZSI. The boost factor equation, voltage and current equations of the capacitors, diodes and inductors are ...

Switched-Coupled-Inductor Quasi-Z-Source Inverter

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2016
Z-source inverters have become a research hotspot because of their single-stage buck–boost inversion ability, and better immunity to EMI noises. However, their boost gains are limited, because of higher component-voltage stresses and poor output power quality, which results from the tradeoff between the shoot-through interval and the modulation index ...

New High-frequency Isolated Quasi-Z-source Inverter

2020 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC), 2020
In order to make up for the shortcomings of traditional Z-source and quasi-Z-source inverter, such as weak boosting capacity, large capacitor voltage stress, and electrical isolation on the input and output sides, this paper proposes a new high-frequency isolated quasi-Z-source inverter circuit topology.
