Chaotification of Quasi-Zero Stiffness System via Direct Time-delay Feedback Control [PDF]
This paper presents a chaotification method based on direct time-delay feedback control for a quasi-zero-stiffness isolation system. An analytical function of time-delay feedback control is derived based on differential-geometry control theory ...

The work demonstrates that strategic wall‐thickness grading in diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices enables precise tuning of deformation and failure behavior under compression. Different gradation patterns guide how and where the structure collapses, improving energy absorption or promoting controlled brittle failure.

Road to entire insulation for resonances from a forced mechanical system
The effective solution to avoid machinery damage caused by resonance has been perplexing the field of engineering as a core research direction since the resonance phenomenon was discovered by Euler in 1750. Numerous attempts have been performed to reduce

Local Thermal Conductivity Patterning in Rotating Lattice Crystals of Anisotropic Sb2S3
Microscale control of thermal conductivity in Sb2S3 is demonstrated via laser‐induced rotating lattice crystals. Thermal conductivity imaging reveals marked thermal transport anisotropy, with the c axis featuring amorphous‐like transport, whereas in‐plane directions (a, b) exhibit 3.5x and 1.7x larger thermal conductivity.

Oscillating Systems with Elastic Element Moving between Guides with given Shape [PDF]
Oscillations of the systems with force characteristics with hysteresis loops of rectangular shape obtained by dry friction forces are analyzed. Linear and rotary cases of the system were analyzed. Designs of these systems are presented.

The ultrahard teeth of mollusks that feed on rocky substrates contain a wear‐resistant coating on their surfaces consisting of densely packed mesocrystalline magnetic nanoparticles within an organic matrix. These coatings display significant hardness and toughness through their highly controlled mesocrystalline architectures.
