Cover quasi-uniformities in frames

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 2011
Quasi-uniformities (that is, not necessarily symmetric uniformities) on a set \(X\) are normally studied via entourages (that is, special subsets of \(X\times X\)). This has been done successfully in the point-free context, too. However, because the point-free representation of the square \(X\times X\) is not without difficulties, there was an interest

Geometry of Solutions of the Quasi-Vortex Filament Equation in Euclidean 3-Space E3

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
This work aims at investigating the geometry of surfaces corresponding to the geometry of solutions of the vortex filament equation in Euclidean 3-space E3 using the quasi-frame.

Some Extensions of Fixed Point Results over Quasi-JS-Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2016
We introduce the notion of quasi-JS-metric space. After defining the basic topological properties of quasi-JS-metric space, we investigate fixed point of certain mapping in the frame of complete quasi-JS-metric space.

Affine and quasi-affine frames for rational dilations [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2010
In this paper we extend the investigation of quasi-affine systems, which were originally introduced by Ron and Shen [J. Funct. Anal. 148 (1997), 408–447] for integer, expansive dilations, to the class of rational, expansive dilations. We show that an affine system is a frame if, and only if, the corresponding family of quasi-affine systems are frames ...

A co-rotational formulation for quasi-steady aerodynamic nonlinear analysis of frame structures

open access: yesHeliyon, 2023
The design of structures submitted to aerodynamic loads usually requires the development of specific computational models considering fluid-structure interactions. Models using structural frame elements are developed in several relevant applications such

Gaze control system for tracking Quasi-1D high-speed moving object in complex background

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering, 2022
A gaze control system for tracking Quasi-1D high-speed moving object is proposed, it can keep the object in the centre of the image within a certain range.

Quasi-position vector curves in Galilean 4-space

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
The Frenet frame is not suitable for describing the behavior of the curve in the Galilean space since it is not defined everywhere. In this study, an alternative frame, the so-called quasi-frame, is investigated in Galilean 4-space.

Quasi-Equiangular Frame (QEF) : A New Flexible Configuration of Frame

open access: yesCoRR, 2013
Frame theory is a powerful tool in the domain of signal processing and communication. Among its numerous configurations, the ones which have drawn much attention recently are Equiangular Tight Frame (ETF) and Grassmannian Frame. These frames both have some kind of optimality in coherence, thus bring robustness or optimal performance in applications ...

Inverse Identification of Energy‐Dependent Laser Absorptivity in NiTi Laser Powder‐Bed Fusion via Calibrated Melt Pool Simulation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A combined experimental–computational framework identifies energy‐dependent laser absorptivity for NiTi in laser powder‐bed fusion, applicable to conduction and transition modes. Single‐track experiments and thermofluid smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulations are coupled through inverse analysis of melt pool geometry.
