Arcwise Connected Domains, Quasiconformal Mappings, and Quasidisks
Abstract and Applied Analysis, 2014 We prove that a homeomorphism f:R2→R2 is a quasiconformal mapping if and only if f(D) is an arcwise connected domain for any arcwise connected domain D⊆R2, and D is a quasidisk if and only if both D and its exterior D*=R2∖D¯ are arcwise connected domains.

Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1970 In this paper, K quasiconformal maps of Riemann surfaces are investigated. A theorem, which is similar to Schwarz's lemma, is proved for a certain class of K quasiconformal maps. This result is then used to give elementary proofs of theorems concerning K quasiconformal maps.
