Arcwise Connected Domains, Quasiconformal Mappings, and Quasidisks
We prove that a homeomorphism f:R2→R2 is a quasiconformal mapping if and only if f(D) is an arcwise connected domain for any arcwise connected domain D⊆R2, and D is a quasidisk if and only if both D and its exterior D*=R2∖D¯ are arcwise connected domains.

Hausdorff dimension of escaping sets of meromorphic functions
We give a complete description of the possible Hausdorff dimensions of escaping sets for meromorphic functions with a finite number of singular values. More precisely, for any given $d\in [0,2]$ we show that there exists such a meromorphic function for ...

On the growth of mth derivatives of algebraic polynomials in the weighted Lebesgue space
In this paper, we study the growth of the mth derivative of an arbitrary algebraic polynomial in bounded and unbounded general domains of the complex plane in weighted Lebesgue spaces.

On the theorem of wan for K-quasiconformal hyperbolic harmonic self mappings of the unit disk [PDF]
We give a new glance to the theorem of Wan (Theorem 1.1) which is related to the hyperbolic bi-Lipschicity of the K-quasiconformal, K ≥ 1, hyperbolic harmonic mappings of the unit disk D onto itself.

Explicit Bounds and Sharp Results for the Composition Operators Preserving the Exponential Class
Let f:Ω⊂Rn→Rn be a quasiconformal mapping whose Jacobian is denoted by Jf and let EXP(Ω) be the space of exponentially integrable functions on Ω. We give an explicit bound for the norm of the composition operator Tf: u∈EXP(Ω)↦u∘f-1∈EXP(f(Ω)) and, as a ...

Dimer models and conformal structures
Abstract Dimer models have been the focus of intense research efforts over the last years. Our paper grew out of an effort to develop new methods to study minimizers or the asymptotic height functions of general dimer models and the geometry of their frozen boundaries.

Freely quasiconformal and locally weakly quasisymmetric mappings in metric spaces
In this article, we investigate the relationship between freely quasiconformal mappings and locally weakly quasisymmetric mappings in quasiconvex and complete metric spaces.
