Probing the growth and melting pathways of a decagonal quasicrystal in real-time
How does a quasicrystal grow? Despite the decades of research that have been dedicated to this area of study, it remains one of the fundamental puzzles in the field of crystal growth. Although there has been no lack of theoretical studies on quasicrystal

Emergent quasicrystal in fermionic superradiance
Quasicrystal is state of matter with multiple crystalline orders, displaying a short-range density-wave order and a long-range disorder. As an exotic state lying in between crystals and Anderson insulators, its dynamical formation is little discussed ...

Phason Sinks of Radiation Defects in Quasicrystals
Phason sinks of radiation defects in quasicrystals are considered as partial point defects. The kinetics of point defect absorption by single phasons is studied. A model of the dislocation loop with the phason fault under irradiation is developed.
