Results on Double-polarization Asymmetries in Quasielastic Scattering from Polarized 3He
The 3He nucleus has become extremely important in the investigation of the neutron’s spin structure. When polarized, 3He acts as an effective polarized neutron target and hence facilitates our understanding of the neutron’s internal structure.

Coulomb corrections for quasielastic (e,e') scattering: eikonal approximation
We address the problem of including Coulomb distortion effects in inclusive quasielastic (e,e') reactions using the eikonal approximation. Our results indicate that Coulomb corrections may become large for heavy nuclei for certain kinematical regions ...

Proton recoil polarization in quasielastic electron scattering is a powerful tool to study properties of nucleons bound in the nuclear medium. The most precise results have been obtained at Jefferson Lab in the 4He(e, e′ p)3 H reaction at four momentum ...

We previously derived a theorem about the {\em coherent} quasielastic neutron-scattering signal from a $d$-dimensional lattice of $N$ molecules that are undergoing rotational jump diffusion (around an $n$-fold axis), assuming that there are no ...

The smectic phase shows a layered structure, which is the most fundamental and universal order found in soft materials. However, previous technical limitations made it difficult to fully and microscopically observe the interlayer molecular motions in the

LASER CORRELATION SPECTROSCOPY (LCS) AND ITS CLINICAL PERSPECTIVES IN OPHTHALMOLOGY
The method of laser correlation spectroscopy (LCS) is based on the analysis of the spectrum of quasielastic light scatter during coherent monochromatic laser irradiation of micro-particles in biological fluids (blood serum, urine, oropharyngeal washout ...

Measurements of the neutron electric to magnetic form factor ratio G_(En)/G_(Mn) via the ^2H(e, e'n)^1H reaction to Q^2 = 1.45 (GeV/c)^2 [PDF]
We report values for the neutron electric tomagnetic form factor ratio,G_(En)/G_(Mn), deduced frommeasurements of the neutron’s recoil polarization in the quasielastic ^2H(e, e'n)^1H reaction, at three Q^2 values of 0.45, 1.13, and 1.45 (GeV/c)^2.
