Effect of the $2p2h$ cross-section uncertainties on an analysis of neutrino oscillations
We report the results of a study aimed at quantifying the impact on the oscillation analysis of the uncertainties associated with the description of the neutrino-nucleus cross section in the two-particle--two-hole sector. The results of our calculations,

Lithium Ion Transport Environment by Molecular Vibrations in Ion‐Conducting Glasses
Li ions present in glasses can be classified by evaluating their valence oscillations via Bader analysis to topologically analyze the chemical bonds. It is found that three types of Li ions are present in Li3PS4 glass, and that the more mobile Li ions exhibit a characteristic correlation at relatively long distances of 4.0–5.0 Å.

Modeling inclusive electron-nucleus scattering with Bayesian artificial neural networks
We introduce a Bayesian protocol based on artificial neural networks that is suitable for modeling inclusive electron-nucleus scattering on a variety of nuclear targets with quantified uncertainties.

Yb-Yb correlations and crystal-field effects in the Kondo insulator YbB12 and its solid solutions
We have studied the effect of Lu substitution on the spin dynamics of the Kondo insulator YbB12 to clarify the origin of the spin-gap response previously observed at low temperature in this material.

Interference Effects in Relativistic Deuteron Electrodisintegration
We extend the relativistic plane--wave impulse approximation formalism to incorporate a specific class of relativistic interference effects for use in describing inclusive electrodisintegration of $^2$H.

Results on Double-polarization Asymmetries in Quasielastic Scattering from Polarized 3He
The 3He nucleus has become extremely important in the investigation of the neutron’s spin structure. When polarized, 3He acts as an effective polarized neutron target and hence facilitates our understanding of the neutron’s internal structure.

Proton recoil polarization in quasielastic electron scattering is a powerful tool to study properties of nucleons bound in the nuclear medium. The most precise results have been obtained at Jefferson Lab in the 4He(e, e′ p)3 H reaction at four momentum ...

Momentum-space structure of quasielastic spin fluctuations in Ce3Pd20Si6
Among heavy-fermion metals, Ce$_3$Pd$_{20}$Si$_6$ is one of the heaviest-electron systems known to date. Here we used high-resolution neutron spectroscopy to observe low-energy magnetic scattering from a single crystal of this compound in the ...
