Electron Channeling Contrast Imaging for the Characterization of Dislocations in III−V Thin Films on Silicon (001)

open access: yesphysica status solidi (a), EarlyView.
Defect characterization plays a crucial role in semiconductor research, yet the development of fast, cheap, and nondestructive tools remains challenging. This work applies electron channeling contrast imaging (ECCI) to III–V thin films on silicon, examining beam parameters and diffraction conditions.

Dynamical Behavior of Human α-Synuclein Studied by Quasielastic Neutron Scattering. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2016
α-synuclein (αSyn) is a protein consisting of 140 amino acid residues and is abundant in the presynaptic nerve terminals in the brain. Although its precise function is unknown, the filamentous aggregates (amyloid fibrils) of αSyn have been shown to be ...

Hydration‐ and Temperature‐Dependent Rotational Dynamics and Water Diffusion in Nanocellulose

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 6, Issue 10, October 2025.
Dynamics in hydrated cellulose: cellulose–water dynamics where the localized motions are coupled at higher temperature, and cellulose dynamics where hydration and elevated temperature results in a higher hydrogen mobility in the cellulose chains. Nanocellulose is a promising alternative to fossil‐derived materials, but its development is hindered by a ...

Quasielastic scattering of slow-neutron in water-alcohol solutions [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2010
Research of molecules dynamics of solutions “water - propyl alcohol” of different concentration at the temperature 281 K is conducted by the method of slow-neutron quasi-elastic scattering. There were experimentally exposed the feature of effective self-

Quasielastic neutron scattering study of POSS ligand dynamics

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
Polyoligosilsesquioxanes are molecules having cage-like structures composed of silicon and oxygen. These molecules can have a wide variety of functional ligands attached to them.

Effective action for quasielastic scatterings in QCD [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1995
A new effective action for the high energy quark-quark scatterings is obtained by applying a scaling approximation to the QCD action. The propagators are shown to factorize into the transverse and the longitudinal parts so that the scattering amplitudes are given in terms of the products of two-dimensional [ital S] matrices.

Study of the water dynamics near hydrophilic, nanostructured CuO surfaces by quasielastic and inelastic neutron scattering

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2022
We have used quasielastic and inelastic neutron scattering to investigate the structure, dynamics, and phase transitions of water interacting with superhydrophilic CuO surfaces that not only possess a strong affinity for water but also a “grass-like ...

Relativistic pionic effects in quasielastic electron scattering [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics A, 2002
The impact of relativistic pionic correlations and meson-exchange currents on the response functions for electromagnetic quasielastic electron scattering from nuclei is studied in detail. Results in first-order perturbation theory are obtained for one-particle emission electronuclear reactions within the context of the relativistic Fermi gas model ...
