Regional quasigeoid from GOCE and terrestrial measurements
Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica, 2014Results obtained as a solution to the geodetic boundary-value problem, where two different sources of input boundary data are combined together, are presented. On the upper part of the boundary defined by the Earth surface and separated from the Earth masses, the gravity anomalies are derived from GOCE gravity gradiometry data using a transformation ...

Test Computations for a Local Quasigeoid in Hungary Using FFT
1991The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) technique is an efficient and practical tool in geodesy for solving local gravity field approximation problems, among others for local geoid (quasigeoid) determination. In the future we plan to use the FFT procedure for its efficiency in computing a detailed gridded set of height anomalies for Hungary.

Local quasigeoid model creation from astrogeodetic measurements
Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica, 2012This article describes the process of creation and testing of a local quasigeoid model using the astrogeodetic method known as astronomical levelling. The process used here was based on astronomical levelling principles combined with the least square adjustment in a triangular network and a common method of surface generation.

Quasigeoid evaluation with improved levelled height data for Norway
Journal of Geodesy, 2007GPS-levelling points are widely used to control gravimetric geoid or quasigeoid models. Direct comparison is often interpreted to reveal the accuracy of the gravimetric model, using GPS-levelling as a reference. However, both GPS and levelled heights contain errors, and in order to achieve a centimeter-accuracy geoid, these should be investigated.

Regional Astrogeodetic Validation of GPS/Levelling Data and Quasigeoid Models
2009In the context of a GOCE regional validation and combination experiment in Germany, a work package within the framework of the GOCE-GRAND II project, gravity observations, vertical deflections and GPS/levelling data are collected as independent data sets.

Difference between geoid and quasigeoid at the territory of Serbia
2015In this paper work differences between geoid and quasigeoid at the territory of Serbia that were modeled in two ways are shown. The first way meant usage of orthometric and normal high precision leveling heights and the second usage of detailed gravimetric survey of Serbia.
