The Geodetic Infrastructure of Ungheni District of the Republic of Moldova
Starting from 1999 a new geodetic reference system MOLDREF99 based on the ITRF97 and ETRS89 was established in Republic of Moldova. The realization of MOLDREF99 is the national GNSS Network with density about 1 point per 15 sq. km.

Utilisation of Fast Fourier Transform and Least-squares Modification of Stokes formula to compile approximate geoid heights over Khartoum State: Sudan [PDF]
We use Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Least-squares modification (LSM) of Stokes formula to compute the approximate geoid over Khartoum State in Sudan.

Improvement of the accuracy of the quasigeoid model VIGAC2017 [PDF]
As mentioned in (Ha Minh Hoa, 2017), a national spatial reference system will be constructed based on a highly accurate national quasigeoid model with accuracy more than 4 cm. In Vietnam at the present stage there isn’t a detailed gravimetric measurement

On the geoid and orthometric height vs. quasigeoid and normal height
The geoid, but not the quasigeoid, is an equipotential surface in the Earth’s gravity field that can serve both as a geodetic datum and a reference surface in geophysics. It is also a natural zero-level surface, as it agrees with the undisturbed mean sea

The quasigeoid modelling in New Zealand using the boundary element method
We compile a quasigeoid model at the study area of New Zealand using the boundary element method (BEM). The direct BEM formulation for the Laplace equation is applied to obtain a numerical solution to the linearized fixed gravimetric boundaryvalue ...

A crossvalidation-based comparison of kriging and IDW in local GNSS/levelling quasigeoid modelling
This study compares two interpolation methods in the problem of a local GNSS/levelling (quasi) geoid modelling. It uses raw data, no global geopotential model is involved.

TanDEM-X for Large-Area Modeling of Urban Vegetation Height: Evidence from Berlin, Germany [PDF]
—Large-area urban ecology studies often miss information on vertical parameters of vegetation, even though they represent important constituting properties of complex urban ecosystems.

The quality role of height system and geoid model in the realization of GNSS heighting [PDF]
This paper presents a quality analysis and comparison of two height reference surfaces. The first is the actual geoid model from the year 2000, and the second is the test geoid model determined in the frame of the project Establishment of the European ...
