Noncoercive Perturbed Densely Defined Operators and Application to Parabolic Problems
Let X be a real locally uniformly convex reflexive separable Banach space with locally uniformly convex dual space X∗. Let T:X⊇D(T)→2X∗ be maximal monotone and S : X⊇D(S) → X∗ quasibounded generalized pseudomonotone such that there exists a real reflexive separable Banach space W ⊂ D(S), dense and continuously embedded in X. Assume, further, that there

On the generalized monotonicity of variational inequalities [PDF]
In this paper, three new classes of generalized monotone operators are introduced: the relaxed μ pseudomonotone operator, relaxed μ quasimonotone operator and densely relaxed pseudomonotone operator.

A New Exceptional Family of Elements and Solvability of General Order Complementarity Problems
By using the concept of exceptional family, we propose a sufficient condition of a solution to general order complementarity problems (denoted by GOCP) in Banach space, which is weaker than that in Németh, 2010 (Theorem 3.1). Then we study some sufficient conditions for the nonexistence of exceptional family for GOCP in Hilbert space.

Hölder Continuity of a Parametric Generalized Variational Inequality
By using the classic metric projection method, we obtain sufficient conditions for Hölder continuity of the nonunique solution mapping for a parametric generalized variational inequality with respect to data perturbation. The result is different from the recent ones in the literature and has a strong geometric flavor.

Existence of Solutions for a Coupled System of Second and Fourth Order Elliptic Equations
The generalized quasilinearization technique is applied to obtain a monotone sequence of iterates converging uniformly and quadratically to a solution of a coupled system of second and fourth order elliptic equations.

A note on a paper by Su Ke and He Zhen [PDF]
In this note we show that a multivalued bounded quasimonotone operator of type (M) between a reflexive Banach space and its dual is pseudomonotone. Hence we deduce that a result of Su Ke and He Zhen [Su Ke, He Zhen, Solutions of nonlinear evolution ...

This paper is devoted to the various coercivity conditions in order to guarantee existence of solutions and boundedness of the solution set for the variational‐hemivariational inequalities involving upper semicontinuous operators. The results presented in this paper generalize and improve some known results.

We investigate a class of new H((·, ·), (·, ·))‐mixed cocoercive operators in Hilbert spaces. We extend the concept of resolvent operators associated with H(·, ·)‐cocoercive operators to the H((·, ·), (·, ·))‐mixed cocoercive operators and prove that the resolvent operator of H((·, ·), (·, ·))‐mixed cocoercive operator is single valued and Lipschitz ...

APPLICATIONS OF GENERALIZED MONOTONICITY AND GENERALIZED CONVEXITY IN VARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES AND VECTOR OPTIMIZATION [PDF]
THE FIRST PART OF THIS THESIS IS DEVOTED TO THE VECTOR VARIATIONAL INEQUALITY PROBLEMS WITH GENERALIZED MONOTONE OPERATORS. EXISTENCE THEOREMS CONCERNING THE CLASS OF (VECTOR) PSEUDOMONOTONE AND QUASIMONOTONE OPERATORS ARE OBTAINED, WHILE BY MEANS OF

Global Stability of an SEIS Epidemic Model with General Saturation Incidence
We present an SEIS epidemic model with infective force in both latent period and infected period, which has different general saturation incidence rates. It is shown that the global dynamics are completely determined by the basic reproductive number R0.
