Dual Equivalence Graphs Revisited [PDF]
In 2007 Sami Assaf introduced dual equivalence graphs as a method for demonstrating that a quasisymmetric function is Schur positive. The method involves the creation of a graph whose vertices are weighted by Ira Gessel's fundamental quasisymmetric ...

Deployment Impact Experiment and Dynamic Analysis of Modular Truss Antenna
The deployment of a modular truss antenna reflector is relied on the driven energy of the springs between the components of the structure. The deployment process is characterized by fast speed and large impact. In order to study the impact characteristics of antenna deployment on the boundary, the deployment dynamic analysis of a modular truss antenna ...

Schubert polynomials and $k$-Schur functions (Extended abstract) [PDF]
The main purpose of this paper is to show that the multiplication of a Schubert polynomial of finite type $A$ by a Schur function can be understood from the multiplication in the space of dual $k$-Schur functions. Using earlier work by the second author,

Extension of m‐Symmetric Hilbert Space Operators
We introduce a new class of operators, which we will call the class of P‐quasi‐m‐symmetric operators that includes m‐symmetric operators and k‐quasi m‐symmetric operators. Some basic structural properties of this class of operators are established based on the operator matrix representation associated with such operators.

A Hopf-power Markov chain on compositions [PDF]
In a recent paper, Diaconis, Ram and I constructed Markov chains using the coproduct-then-product map of a combinatorial Hopf algebra. We presented an algorithm for diagonalising a large class of these "Hopf-power chains", including the Gilbert-Shannon ...

The Quasisymmetric Mappings under the Quasihyperbolic Metric in Real Banach Spaces
Suppose that E, E′ are Q‐regular Banach spaces, that G⊂E and G′⊂E′ are domains, and that f : G⟶G′ is a homeomorphism. The aim of this study is to prove that the quasisymmetric mapping under the quasihyperbolic metric is equivalent to the freely quasiconformal mapping under the condition E, E′ being Q‐regular Banach spaces.

Hall-Littlewood Polynomials in terms of Yamanouchi words [PDF]
This paper uses the theory of dual equivalence graphs to give explicit Schur expansions to several families of symmetric functions. We begin by giving a combinatorial definition of the modified Macdonald polynomials and modified Hall-Littlewood ...

Quasisymmetric graphs and Zygmund functions [PDF]
A quasisymmetric graph is a curve whose projection onto a line is a quasisymmetric map. We show that this class of curves is related to solutions of the reduced Beltrami equation and to a generalization of the Zygmund class $\Lambda_*$.

DUAL EQUIVALENCE GRAPHS I: A NEW PARADIGM FOR SCHUR POSITIVITY
We make a systematic study of a new combinatorial construction called a dual equivalence graph. We axiomatize these graphs and prove that their generating functions are symmetric and Schur positive.

Bayer noise quasisymmetric functions and some combinatorial algebraic structures [PDF]
Recently, quasisymmetric functions have been widely studied due to their big connection to enumerative combinatorics, combinatorial Hopf algebra and number theory.
