Some New Balanced and Almost Balanced Quaternary Sequences with Low Autocorrelation [PDF]
arXiv, 2017 Quaternary sequences of both even and odd period having low autocorrelation are studied. We construct new families of balanced quaternary sequences of odd period and low autocorrelation using cyclotomic classes of order eight, as well as investigate the linear complexity of some known quaternary sequences of odd period.

arXiv, 2020 Two arrays form a periodic complementary pair if the sum of their periodic autocorrelations is a delta function. Finding such pairs, however, is challenging for large arrays whose entries are constrained to a small alphabet. One such alphabet is the quaternary set which contains the complex fourth roots of unity.

New quaternary codes derived from posets of the disjoint union of two chains [PDF]
arXiv, 2019 Based on the generic construction of linear codes, we construct linear codes over the ring $\Bbb Z_4$ via posets of the disjoint union of two chains. We determine the Lee weight distributions of the quaternary codes. Moreover, we obtain some new linear quaternary codes and good binary codes by using the Gray map.
