Titchmarsh’s-type theorem for two-sided quaternion Fourier transform and sharp Hausdorff–Young inequality for quaternion linear canonical transform

open access: yesExamples and Counterexamples
In this work, we first introduce the two-sided quaternion Fourier transform and demonstrate its essential properties. We generalize Titchmarsh’s-type theorem in the framework of the two-sided quaternion Fourier transform. Based on the interaction between

Circulating histones as clinical biomarkers in critically ill conditions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Circulating histones are emerging as promising biomarkers in critical illness due to their diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic potential. Detection methods such as ELISA and mass spectrometry provide reliable approaches for quantifying histone levels in plasma samples.

Quaternion Statistical Submanifolds and Submersions

open access: yesMathematics
This paper aims to develop a general theory of quaternion Kahlerian statistical manifolds and to study quaternion CR-statistical submanifolds in such ambient manifolds.

The geometry of proper quaternion random variables

open access: yes, 2016
Second order circularity, also called properness, for complex random variables is a well known and studied concept. In the case of quaternion random variables, some extensions have been proposed, leading to applications in quaternion signal processing ...

ERBIN limits epithelial cell plasticity via suppression of TGF‐β signaling

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In breast and lung cancer patients, low ERBIN expression correlates with poor clinical outcomes. Here, we show that ERBIN inhibits TGF‐β‐induced epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in NMuMG breast and A549 lung adenocarcinoma cell lines. ERBIN suppresses TGF‐β/SMAD signaling and reduces TGF‐β‐induced ERK phosphorylation.

Thermostable neutral metalloprotease from Geobacillus sp. EA1 does not share thermolysin's preference for substrates with leucine at the P1′ position

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Knowing how proteases recognise preferred substrates facilitates matching proteases to applications. The S1′ pocket of protease EA1 directs cleavage to the N‐terminal side of hydrophobic residues, particularly leucine. The S1′ pocket of thermolysin differs from EA's at only one position (leucine in place of phenylalanine), which decreases cleavage ...

Research on Near Ground Precision Application Navigation Technology of Plant Protection UAV Based on SRCKF-SLAM

open access: yesJournal of Applied Science and Engineering
The traditional quaternion is used as the description parameter of the nonlinear state model of the aircraft, and the accuracy of the attitude estimation is presented. A square root cubature Kalman filter algorithm based on quaternion is proposed.

A Fuzzy Tuned and Second Estimator of the Optimal Quaternion Complementary Filter for Human Motion Measurement with Inertial and Magnetic Sensors

open access: yesSensors, 2018
To accurately measure human motion at high-speed, we proposed a simple structure complementary filter, named the Fuzzy Tuned and Second EStimator of the Optimal Quaternion Complementary Filter (FTECF).

Sampling expansions associated with quaternion difference equations

open access: yes, 2020
Starting with a quaternion difference equation with boundary conditions, a parameterized sequence which is complete in finite dimensional quaternion Hilbert space is derived. By employing the parameterized sequence as the kernel of discrete transform, we
