Commutative Quaternion Matrices
In this study, we introduce the concept of commutative quaternions and commutative quaternion matrices. Firstly, we give some properties of commutative quaternions and their Hamilton matrices.

Exploring lipid diversity and minimalism to define membrane requirements for synthetic cells
Designing the lipid membrane of synthetic cells is a complex task, in which its various roles (among them solute transport, membrane protein support, and self‐replication) should all be integrated. In this review, we report the latest top‐down and bottom‐up advances and discuss compatibility and complexity issues of current engineering approaches ...

Roots of unity in definite quaternion orders
A commutative order in a quaternion algebra is called selective if it is embeds into some, but not all, the maximal orders in the algebra. It is known that a given quadratic order over a number field can be selective in at most one indefinite quaternion ...

Dual Quaternions and Dual Quaternion Vectors
We introduce a total order and the absolute value function for dual numbers. The absolute value function of dual numbers are with dual number values, and have properties similar to the properties of the absolute value function of real numbers. We define the magnitude of a dual quaternion, as a dual number.

C‐mannosylation is a unique form of protein glycosylation. In this study, we demonstrated that ADAMTS1 is C‐mannosylated at Trp562 and Trp565 in human testicular germ cell tumor NEC8 cells. We found that C‐mannosylation of ADAMTS1 is essential for its secretion, processing, enzymatic activity, and ability to promote vasculogenic mimicry. These findings

Quaternionic quantum mechanics for N = 1, 2, 4 supersymmetry
Background Quaternions have emerged as powerful tools in higher-dimensional quantum mechanics as they provide homogeneous four-dimensional structure in quantum field theories, offer compact representations, and incorporate spin naturally.

The Arabidopsis mutants hls1 hlh1 and amp1 lamp1 exhibit pleiotropic developmental phenotypes. Although the functions of the causative genes remain unclear, they act in the same genetic pathway and are thought to generate non‐cell‐autonomous signals.
