Dual quaternions and dual projective spaces

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2009
Abstract In this study, dual unitary matrices SUD(2) were obtained. We correspond to one to one elements of the unit dual sphere S D 3 with the dual unitary matrices SUD(2). Thus, we express spherical concepts such as meridians of longitude and parallels of latitude on SUD(2).

On the Quaternion Ball and the Quaternion Projective Space

Acta Mathematica Sinica, English Series, 2005
Since the quaternion ball was used to study the AdS/CFT problems for spinor fields, it is worthwhile to study further the geometry (in sense of Klein) and analysis on it and on its extended space (in the sense of Behnke–Thullen), the quaternion projective space.

Split quaternions and semi-Euclidean projective spaces

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2009
Abstract In this study, we give one-to-one correspondence between the elements of the unit split three-sphere S ( 3 , 2 ) with the complex hyperbolic special unitary matrices SU ( 2 , 1 ) . Thus, we express spherical concepts such as meridians of longitude and parallels of latitude on SU ( 2 , 1 ) by using the ...

Planar geodesic submanifolds in a quaternionic projective space

Geometriae Dedicata, 1988
The planar geodesic submanifolds of a quaternionic projective space are studied. Especially, these submanifolds which are totally real or quaternionic CR-submanifolds are completely classified. Also, the non-existence of a planar geodesic, proper QR-product in a quaternionic projective space is proved.

Moduli of Quaternionic Superminimal Immersions of 2-Spheres into Quaternionic Projective Spaces

Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry, 1998
The aim of this paper is to describe the moduli spaces of degree d quaternionic superminimal maps from 2-spheres to quaternionic projective spaces HPn. We show that such moduli spaces have the structure of projectivized fibre products and are connected quasi-projective varieties of dimension 2nd + 2n + 2.

EINSTEIN–KÄHLER SUBMANIFOLDS IN A QUATERNION PROJECTIVE SPACE [PDF]

open access: possibleBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 2004
In this paper, half-dimensional Einstein–Kahler submanifolds or locally reducible Kahler submanifolds are classified in a quaternion projective space.
