An Overview of Algorithms for Solving Vehicle Routing Problems in the Quantum-Classical Cloud
Introduction. The hope of solving the problem of the avalanche-like growth of requirements for computing power, essential for solving complex routing problems and other problems of combinatorial optimization, relies on the latest quantum computers, in ...

Quantum state estimation when qubits are lost: a no-data-left-behind approach
We present an approach to Bayesian mean estimation of quantum states using hyperspherical parametrization and an experiment-specific likelihood which allows utilization of all available data, even when qubits are lost.

Phonon-induced decoherence of a charge quadrupole qubit
Many quantum dot qubits operate in regimes where the energy splittings between qubit states are large and phonons can be the dominant source of decoherence.

We show that qubit and chirotope concepts are closely related. In fact, we prove that the qubit concept leads to a generalization of the chirotope concept, which we call qubitope. Moreover, we argue that a possible qubitope theory may suggest interesting applications of oriented matroid theory in at least three physical contexts, in which qubits make ...

Optimal control for fast and high-fidelity quantum gates in coupled superconducting flux qubits [PDF]
We apply the quantum optimal control theory based on the Krotov method to implement single-qubit $X$ and $Z$ gates and two-qubit CNOT gates for inductively coupled superconducting flux qubits with fixed qubit transition frequencies and fixed off-diagonal qubit-qubit coupling.

Cat-qubit-inspired gate on cos($2θ$) qubits [PDF]
For $\cos(2\theta)$ qubits based on voltage-controlled semiconductor nanowire Josephson junctions we introduce a single-qubit $Z$ gate inspired by the noise-bias preserving gate of the Kerr-cat qubit. This scheme relies on a $\pi$ rotation in phase space via a beamsplitter-like transformation between a qubit and ancilla qubit.

Multiparticle entanglement with quantum logic networks: Application to cold trapped ions [PDF]
We show how to construct a multi-qubit control gate on a quantum register of an arbitrary size N. This gate performs a single-qubit operation on a specific qubit conditioned by the state of other N-1 qubits.

Research Paper: Investigation of the Relationship of the Degree of Mixedness and Entanglement of the Bipartite Spin Coherent States [PDF]
In this work, superposition of spin coherent states composed of two qubits is formed and by calculating the geometric measure of mixing of the system introduced in this work, the degree of mixedness of the studied state is investigated. In the following,
