Quenching-partitioning-tempering (Q-P-T) heat treatment is a relatively novel approach to attain excellent ductility in high-strength steels. In the present work, the microstructural evolution and the mechanical properties of a low carbon microalloyed ...

Effect of partitioning time on one-step quenching and partitioning steel
The microstructure and mechanical properties of one-step quenching and partitioning (Q&P) steel with different partitioning time were analyzed. The results shows that the elongation rate rises, tensile strength decreases, the yield strength first declines and then increases with the increasing partitioning time (PT).

Formal Equivalence Between Partitioned and Partition-Free Quenches in Quantum Transport [PDF]
In this paper we review the partitioned and partition-free approaches to the calculation of the time-dependent response of a molecular junction to the switch-on of an arbitrary time-dependent bias. Using the non equilibrium Green's function formalism on different time contours, we derive a formal equivalence between these two approaches. This clarifies

Heat Treatment Design for a QP Steel: Effect of Partitioning Temperature
Designing a new family of advanced high-strength steels (AHSSs) to develop automotive parts that cover early industry needs is the aim of many investigations. One of the candidates in the 3rd family of AHSS are the quenching and partitioning (QP) steels.

The Thermal Stability of Quenched and Partitioned Steel Microstructures [PDF]
The quenching and partitioning (Q&P) process is a heat treatment process, aiming at the creation of steel microstructures composed of martensite and retained austenite. Herein, the thermal stability of the microstructure is investigated upon reheating steel microstructures, created with different Q&P settings, in different thermal routes, using

Quenching and Partitioning Steel Heat Treatment [PDF]
Abstract Quenching and partitioning (Q&P) steel is a term used to describe a series of C-Si-Mn, C-Si-Mn-Al, or other steels subjected to the quenching and partitioning heat treatment process. This article discusses the Q&P steel's chemical compositions and mechanical properties, and provides an overview of the important ...
