Query-by-Example On-Device Keyword Spotting [PDF]
A keyword spotting (KWS) system determines the existence of, usually predefined, keyword in a continuous speech stream. This paper presents a query-by-example on-device KWS system which is user-specific. The proposed system consists of two main steps: query enrollment and testing.

This paper describes Fuzzy Query By Example, an approach helping users retrieve data without any prior knowledge of the database schema or any formal querying language. The user is solicited to evaluate, in a binary way, pre-selected items of the database.

Acoustic Span Embeddings for Multilingual Query-by-Example Search [PDF]
Query-by-example (QbE) speech search is the task of matching spoken queries to utterances within a search collection. In low- or zero-resource settings, QbE search is often addressed with approaches based on dynamic time warping (DTW). Recent work has found that methods based on acoustic word embeddings (AWEs) can improve both performance and search ...

Attention-based audio embeddings for query-by-example
An ideal audio retrieval system efficiently and robustly recognizes a short query snippet from an extensive database. However, the performance of well-known audio fingerprinting systems falls short at high signal distortion levels. This paper presents an audio retrieval system that generates noise and reverberation robust audio fingerprints using the ...

Shape similarity matching for query-by-example
This paper describes a unified approach for two-dimensional (2-D) shape matching and similarity ranking of objects by means of a modal representation. In particular, we propose a new shape-similarity metric in the eigenshape space for object/image retrieval from a visual database via query-by-example.

What's beyond query by example? [PDF]
Over the last ten years, the crucial problem of information retrieval in multimedia documents has boosted research activities in the field of visual appearance indexing and retrieval by content. In the early research years, the concept of the «query by visual example» (QBVE) has been proposed and shown to be relevant for visual information retrieval ...

Query-by-example graafitietokannassa
Verkkomaisen tiedon käsittely graafitietokannassa on vaihtoehto relaatiotietokannoille.
