FUZZY QUEUEING THEORY REVISITED
International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2001We first survey the basic results in recent paper on fuzzy queueing theory based on possibility theory. Then we apply this to two application problems: (1) machine servicing problem (optimal size of service crews); and (2) then a queueing decision problem where we find the optimal number of servers.

2009Queueing theory was founded by Danish scientist A. Erlang who worked for the Copenhagen Telephone Exchange for many years at the beginning of the twentieth century. The works of F. Pollaczek, A.
