mTOR pathway occupies a central role in the emergence of latent cancer cells
The current focus in oncology research is the translational control of cancer cells as a major mechanism of cellular plasticity. Recent evidence has prompted a reevaluation of the role of the mTOR pathway in cancer development leading to new conclusions.

A Nano quiescent Current Power Management for Autonomous Wireless Sensor Network [PDF]
A Nano quiescent current Power Management for Autonomous Wireless Sensor Network dedicated to indoor and outdoor Photovoltaic (PV) Energy Harvesting is presented. The standby current consumption is 130nA @ 2.4V. The battery can be charged with less than 5% of the harvested energy from low light (70 lux) to high light (1 sun).

3D Multicellular Scaffold Based Model for Advancing Bone Disorder Research
A scalable 3D multicellular in vitro bone model engineered by integrating osteoblasts, osteoclasts, and endothelial cells on biodegradable scaffolds. The system recapitulates key features of human bone remodeling and disease pathology. As a proof of concept, the model mimics osteogenesis imperfecta, demonstrating its potential as a physiologically ...

The term quiescent macular neovascularization (MNV) was introduced to describe new vessel formation located beneath the retina pigment epithelium without any exudation and/or hemorrhage in association with age-related macular degeneration on repeated optical coherence tomography (OCT) examinations for at least six months apart.

Stochastically perturbed flows: Delayed and interrupted evolution
We present analytical expressions for the time-dependent and stationary probability distributions corresponding to a stochastically perturbed one-dimensional flow with critical points, in two physically relevant situations: delayed evolution, in which ...

Self‐Immolative Activatable Nanoassembly toward Immuno‐Photodynamic Therapy in TME
A quinone methide‐gated, self‐immolative, H2O2‐responsive nano‐photosensitizer (Pyz/PS) is developed for targeted immuno‐photodynamic therapy. Pyz/PS selectively activates within tumor microenvironments, restores photosensitizer activity, generates ROS, and depletes intracellular GSH, enhancing oxidative stress.

Infrared color selection of massive galaxies at z > 3 [PDF]
We introduce a new color-selection technique to identify high-redshift, massive galaxies that are systematically missed by Lyman-break selection. The new selection is based on the H_{160} and IRAC 4.5um bands, specifically H - [4.5] > 2.25 mag.

A microphysiological lung fibrosis model recapitulates myofibroblast–vascular interactions. Induced myofibroblasts and patient‐derived IPF fibroblasts impair angiogenesis and increase vascular permeability via TGF‐β1–driven signaling. Pharmacological interventions with SB 431542 and VEGF supplementation restore vascular morphology and barrier function.
