Discovery of C5H+ and detection of C3H+ in TMC-1 with the QUIJOTE line survey [PDF]
We report the discovery of the C5H+ cation toward TMC-1 with the QUIJOTE line survey. Four lines from J=7-6 up to J=10-9 have been identified in perfect harmonic frequency relation that can be fit with B=2411.94397 +/-0.00055 MHz and D=138+/-3 Hz.

Searching for dark-matter waves with PPTA and QUIJOTE pulsar polarimetry [PDF]
The polarization of photons emitted by astrophysical sources might be altered as they travel through a dark matter medium composed of ultra light axion-like particles (ALPs).

Discovery of benzyne, o-C6H4, in TMC-1 with the QUIJOTE line survey [PDF]
We report the detection, for the first time in space, of a new non-functionalised hydrocarbon cycle in the direction of TMC-1: o-C6H4 (ortho-benzyne). We derive a column density for this hydrocarbon cycle of (5.0 ± 1.0) × 1011 cm−2. The abundance of this

Transformative enterprises: Characteristics and a definition
Abstract This paper contributes to an emerging discussion about transformative enterprises, which are increasingly seen as change agents in sustainability transformations. Some scholars have hitherto described them as pioneering enterprises that strive for fundamental changes towards sustainability at different scales.

Quijote-PNG: Quasi-maximum Likelihood Estimation of Primordial Non-Gaussianity in the Nonlinear Dark Matter Density Field [PDF]
Future large-scale structure surveys are expected to improve current bounds on primordial non-Gaussianity (PNG), with a significant impact on our understanding of early universe physics.

Abstract This article explores how during Spain's transition to democracy in the 1970s and 1980s, Francoist disabled veterans of the Spanish Civil War navigated the disappearance of formerly hegemonic historical narratives which had hitherto defined their relationship with the state.

A New Priest for a New Society? The Masculinity of the Priesthood in Liberal Spain*
This study examines the formation of the ideal of the “good parish priest” as a means for the Catholic Church to recover its social influence in the Spain that emerged from the liberal revolutions of the early nineteenth century. It makes use of the concept of masculinity as a resource for illuminating the forms of authority and social relationships ...

Discovery of five cyano derivatives of propene with the QUIJOTE line survey [PDF]
We report the discovery of five cyano derivatives of propene towards TMC-1 with the QUIJOTE line survey: trans and cis -crotononitrile ( t -CH 3 CHCHCN, c -CH 3 CHCHCN), methacrylonitrile (CH 2 C(CH 3 )CN), and g auche and cis -allyl cyanide ( g - CH 2 ...

Visible winds: The production of new visibilities of wind energy in West Germany, 1973–1991
Abstract The use of energy from wind has a multi‐faceted relationship to visibility. Between 1973 and 1991, various actors in the West German environmental movement made assertions about the visibility of renewable sources of power, but wind energy took on a particular prominence.

Differences between poison and venom: An attempt at an integrative biological approach
Abstract We discuss the use of the terms venom and poison, in the context of integrative biology, with particular emphasis on behaviour and natural history. Our purpose is to reach a broad scientific audience, especially that dedicated to zoology. The meaning of the two terms is reviewed from the secretory perspective, mainly focussed on the reptiles ...
