Design and synthesis of propellane derivatives and oxa-bowls via ring-rearrangement metathesis as a key step

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2015
Various intricate propellane derivatives and oxa-bowls have been synthesized via a ring-rearrangement metathesis (RRM) as a key step starting from readily accessible starting materials such as p-benzoquinone, 1,4-naphthoquinone and 1,4-anthraquinone.

Cobalt Single‐Atom Catalysts for Ultrafast Sulfamethoxazole Degradation: Unveiling the Chloride‐Ion‐Enhanced Formation of Co(IV)=O

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An atomically dispersed Co–N4 single‐atom catalyst rapidly activates peroxymonosulfate to remove the antibiotic sulfamethoxazole from water. Common ions have little impact, but chloride dramatically speeds degradation by promoting a high‐valent Co(IV) = O oxidant via in situ HOCl–catalyst electron transfer.

A Bone Marrow–Mimetic Hydrogel Enables Dual‐Phase Hemostasis and Vascularized Osteogenesis for Cranial Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic, fiber‐reinforced hydrogel (FE‐PDA@Fib/Gel‐TG) that enables dual‐phase cranial defect repair. The system provides: instant hemostasis in the early stage, and sustained co‐delivery of pro‐angiogenic and osteogenic signals for synergistic vascularized bone regeneration.

Data for: Effect of Azamethiphos on enzymatic activity and metabolic fingerprints of marine microbial communities from the water column

open access: yes
The general objective of this study was to determine the effect of different concentrations of the pesticide Azamethiphos on the metabolism of microbial plankton communities (<100 µm) in two contrasting zones, one without salmon farming and the other ...

Phenols and Quinones [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Aromatski spojevi su cikličke, potpuno konjugirane, planarne molekule s odgovarajućim, točno određenim brojem π elektrona. U ovom radu opisani su aromatski spojevi te njihove karakteristične reakcije. Fenoli i kinoni čine veliku skupinu organskih spojeva

Amplification of Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress via Inhibiting Lipid Droplet Formation to Enhance Chemodynamic Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An endoplasmic reticulum (ER)‐targeted chemodynamic nanoagent (TCBQ/iLD‐ER NPs) comprising •OH‐generating tetrachloro‐1,4‐benzoquinone (TCBQ) and lipid droplets (LDs) formation inhibitor (iLD) is developed for chemodynamic immunotherapy of tumors. After ingestion by cancer cells, TCBQ/iLD‐ER NPs preferentially accumulate in the ER and react with ER ...
