Abstract A subadult Moschognathus whaitsi from the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, was scanned using synchrotron radiation X‐ray computed tomography (SRXCT). Its subadult state allowed the cranial bones and teeth to be identified and individually reconstructed in 3D.

The Extremal Quotient

The extremal quotient is defined as the ratio of the largest to the absolute value of the smallest observation. Its analytical properties for symmetrical, continuous and unlimited distributions are obtained from a study of the auto-quotient defined as the ratio of two non-negative variates with identical distributions.
