Clinical progress note: Hepatitis A virus

open access: yesJournal of Hospital Medicine, Volume 21, Issue 3, Page 294-297, March 2026.
Visual Abstract Abstract Despite a decline in hepatitis A virus (HAV) incidence following vaccine introduction, HAV remains a public health concern in the United States. Data‐Independent Acquisition Enhancement of a Competitive Activity‐Based Protein Profiling Platform for Kinase Inhibitor Screening

open access: yesJournal of Mass Spectrometry, Volume 61, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Kinase inhibitors represent a vital class of therapeutic agents widely used in cancer research, immunology, and other disease areas. Mass spectrometry (MS) employing specially designed small‐molecule kinase‐binding probes has become an essential strategy for identifying novel kinase drug targets.

Quantification of Tryptophan and NAD+ Proton Magnetization Exchange With Water Using Downfield 1H MRS in the Human Brain at 7 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 3, Page 1336-1344, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of magnetization exchange on the measurement of tryptophan and NAD+ T1 relaxation times and to determine the magnetization exchange rates with a two‐spin system model using downfield 1H MRS spectroscopy at 7 T in human brain.

Diversity and Potential Endemism of New Zealand Freshwater Rotifers Revealed Using Mitochondrial DNA Barcodes

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Marine and Freshwater Research, Volume 60, Issue 1, March 2026.
Rotifers perform key functions in aquatic food webs and respond to environmental changes, thus providing sensitive indicators of water quality. However, rotifers are small, highly diverse, and difficult to identify for those lacking expertise. Monogononta are the largest taxonomic class of rotifers with over 1500 species described globally, and around ...
