The Mediating Effect of Body Mass Index on the Association Between Problematic Social Media Use and Body Dysmorphic Concerns: A Cross‐Sectional Study Among Young Lebanese Adults

BMI partially mediates the association between problematic social media use and body dysmorphic concerns among Lebanese university students, with higher PSMU linked to increased BMI and greater dysmorphic concerns. These findings highlight BMI as a potential mechanism underlying the impact of social media on body image.
