Interface and Thermophysical Properties of R32 Refrigerant

open access: yes
Driven by the urgent demand for efficient cooling in microelectronics and advanced thermal management systems, difluoromethane (R32/CH2F2) has emerged as a promising candidate owing to its favorable thermophysical properties, including high heat transfer efficiency and low viscosity.

Development of PVE Refrigeration Lubricants for R32

open access: yes, 2014
A New-PVE lubricant was developed for use with R32 refrigerant. R32 has been proposed as an alternative refrigerant for R410A refrigerant, to reduce global warming. In this report, we evaluated the relationship between the New-PVE lubricant and R32 and R410A refrigerants.

Comparison on Evaporation Heat Transfer between R32/R1234yf and R32/R1234ze(E) Flowing in Horizontal Microfin Tubes

open access: yes, 2016
Refrigerant mixtures R32/R1234yf and R32/R1234ze(E) are considered to be the low GWP alternatives of R32 and R410A for air conditioners. However, according to the recent reports, the severe heat transfer degradation is encountered during the evaporation process.

Development of miscibility improved oil for R32

open access: yes, 2018
R32 has been widely applied as an air-conditioner refrigerant. It is known that R32 is inferior to other refrigerants such as HFC and HFO in the miscibility with refrigeration oils. In addition, when R32 dissolves in refrigeration oils, the kinematic viscosity of the oils reduces remarkably.

Evaporation Heat Transfer of R32 inside Horizontal Tubes

open access: yesZhileng xuebao, 2017
This paper studies the evaporation heat transfer of R32 inside two different diameters of horizontal tubes under saturation temperatures of 0 ℃, 5 ℃, and 10 ℃. The evaporation heat transfer coefficient of the refrigerant was obtained by using a heat resistance separating method.

Energy Efficiency of a Chiller Using R410A or R32

open access: yes, 2014
An advanced simulation model of a packaged air cooled water chiller was developed. The nominal cooling capacity of the chiller is about 70 kW at 35°C dry bulb outdoor air temperature, and it consists of a single refrigerating circuit with two identical scroll compressors.
