Bayesian model averaging in R [PDF]

open access: possibleJournal of Economic and Social Measurement, 2011
Bayesian model averaging has increasingly witnessed applications across an array of empirical contexts. However, the dearth of available statistical software which allows one to engage in a model averaging exercise is limited. It is common for consumers of these methods to develop their own code, which has obvious appeal.

E-R modeler

Proceedings of the 42nd annual Southeast regional conference, 2004
Eclipse is a Java integrated development environment (IDE) and tool integration platform that offers numerous extension points for customization through a plug-in architecture. This paper describes the design of an Eclipse plug-in called E-R Modeler. As a database design toolkit, the E-R Modeler provides an E-R (Entity-Relationship) diagram development

R-R Model: Reliable and Reusable Component-Based Development Process Model

2020 2nd International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication Control and Networking (ICACCCN), 2020
Software development methodologies usually comprise of wide collection of tasks that consist of communication, requirement analysis, designing, coding, testing, maintenance and support. The life-cycle of software includes all the activities right from its requirement gathering to delivery. This paper aims at proposing a new model, named ‘R-R’ model for

Modeling in R

2021
Abstract The chapter “Modeling in R” covers the basic interface of R and R Studio, types of objects, core programming language tools, common and useful commands, and creating functions. This chapter is not a substitute for a dedicated book or training program on R; rather, it gives the basics needed to get the reader started.

Modeling in R

2012
One of the many strengths of R is in the diversity and convenience of its modeling functions. In this chapter, we describe several standard statistical models and show how to fit them to data using R.

Modeling Paradigms in ACT-R

2005
In his book "Untitled Theories of Cognition," Newell (1990) called upon researchers to formulate general theories of cognition in the form of cognitive architectures. A cognitive architecture is a computational modeling platform for cognitive tasks. An architecture should offer representational formats together with reasoning and learning mechanisms ...

Dynamic Linear Models with R

2009
State space models have gained tremendous popularity in recent years in as disparate fields as engineering, economics, genetics and ecology, just to mention a few. After a detailed introduction to general state space models the book focuses on dynamic linear models, emphasizing their Bayesian analysis.
