Multilevel model analysis using R [PDF]
The complex datasets cannot be analyzed using only simple regressions. Multilevel models (also known as hierarchical linear models, nested models, mixed models, random coefficient, random-effects models, random parameter models or split-plot designs) are

Structural and biochemical analysis of a B12 superbinder
BtuG proteins are vitamin B12 scavengers in Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, a dominant human gut bacterium. We present crystal structures of three BtuG homologs bound to cobalamin and its precursor cobinamide, revealing picomolar binding affinities, among the highest known for any natural protein.

GAPR: An Efficient R Package for Matrix Visualization and Seriation
Exploratory data analysis (EDA) relies on visualization to reveal patterns, structures, and relationships before formal modeling. As modern datasets increase in size, dimension, and heterogeneity, exposing the association structure becomes challenging ...

RNA‐related functions of BRCA2 in transcription, replication, and genome stability
Beyond its role in homologous recombination, BRCA2 regulates R‐loop homeostasis, DNA–RNA hybrid resolution, RNA polymerase II dynamics, and transcriptional activation. Disruption of any of these functions can contribute to genome instability, inflammatory signaling, and tumorigenesis. BRCA2 is a central tumor suppressor protein best known for its roles

Heterodimeric amino acid transporters consist of SLC7 and SLC3 family proteins arranged in a conserved structural organization. They regulate nutrient transport across cell membranes, supporting essential cellular functions. These transporters also contribute to xenobiotic/drug uptake and distribution.

A concise guide to essential R packages for analyses of DNA, RNA, and proteins
: R is widely regarded as unrivaled by other high-level programming languages for its statistical functions. The popularity of R as a statistical language has led many to overlook its applications outside the statistical realm.
