Notice of Retraction: Construction of Recombinant Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) Vaccine Using Myxoma Virus (MV) as a Vector

open access: closed2011 5th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, 2011
Rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV) and myxoma virus (MV) are the two main viruses that cause serious virus diseases in rabbit population. MV, a pox virus, has been proved to be a good recombinant vaccine vector. In this study we have developed a recombinant virus using MV as a vector against both the myxomatosis and rabbit hemorrhagic disease (RHD)

Identification of two novel rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV) B cell epitopes and evaluation of its immunoprotection against RHDV

open access: closedApplied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 2015
The VP60 protein of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV) is a structural protein with important roles in viral replication and assembly. In this study, we immunized BALB/c mice with the RHDV-TP strain. Six monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) were selected and characterized by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, Western blotting, and indirectly ...

Recombination between G2 and G6 strains of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV) in China

open access: closedArchives of Virology, 2016
Rabbit hemorrhagic disease (RHD) is an acute fatal disease caused by the lagovirus rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV), which was first reported in 1984 in China. Genetic characterization of RHDV has demonstrated that two different genogroups (G2 and G6) are present in China.

Rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV): ultrastructure and biochemical studies of typical and core-like particles present in liver homogenates

open access: closedVirus Research, 1996
Calicivirus particles isolated from rabbits suffering from acute RHD were compared with virions found in rabbits with chronic disease. Liver homogenates of rabbits with the protracted disease display no hemagglutinating activity and contain viral particles with diameters of 25-27 nm.

CHARACTERISTICS FOR SOME RABBIT HEMORRHAGIC DISEASE VIRUS (RHDV) STRAINS PROPAGATED IN ISOLATED RENAL CELL OF RABBIT

open access: closedTaiwan Veterinary Journal
The renal cells were isolated from the kidney of different week-age of healthy rabbits by a single two-stage pass perfusion method and suspended in Hanks’ balanced salt solution ([Formula: see text]-, [Formula: see text]-free). The field strains of RHDV were inoculated into the suspension and incubated for 4 days at 37∘C.

In the spring 1986, an acute infectious disease occurred in Wuhan Second Producing Medical Manufactory, and the rabbit almost died. We tested the mortal symptom and confirmed rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (RHD) as same as Huang Yinyao report. Hubei Traditional Chinese Medicine Institute appear this RHD also.
