Artificial rabbits optimization: A new bio-inspired meta-heuristic algorithm for solving engineering optimization problems

open access: yesEngineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, 2022
In this paper, a new bio-inspired meta-heuristic algorithm, named artificial rabbits optimization (ARO), is proposed and tested comprehensively. The inspiration of the ARO algorithm is the survival strategies of rabbits in nature, including detour ...

Hepatitis E Virus in Farmed Rabbits, Wild Rabbits and Petting Farm Rabbits in the Netherlands [PDF]

open access: yesFood and Environmental Virology, 2016
Rabbits have been suggested as a zoonotic source of Hepatitis E virus. Phylogenetic analysis of HEV isolates from farmed, wild and pet rabbits in the Netherlands (23, 0, and 60 % respectively) showed them to be grouped amongst published rabbit HEV ...

Oogenesis in rabbits

Journal of Experimental Zoology, 1965
AbstractOogenesis in rabbits was investigated by examining the development of germ cells after birth. The transformation of oogonia to oocytes begins in the one day old animal. The appearance of the different stages of meiotic prophase was noted and their differential distribution in the germ cell population determined.

Cryptanalysis of Rabbit

2008
The stream cipher Rabbit is one candidate to the ECRYPT Stream Cipher Project (eSTREAM) on the third evaluation phase. It has a 128-bit key, 64-bit IV and 513-bit internal state. Currently, only one paper [1] studied it besides a series of white papers by the authors of Rabbit.

Encephalitozoonosis in rabbits

Parasitology Research, 2009
Encephalitozoon cuniculi is an obligatory intracellular microsporidian parasite that can infect a wide range of mammals, including rodents, rabbits, horses, carnivores and humans, in which the organism is known as an opportunistic pathogen of immunocompromised individuals. Nevertheless, the main host for E. cuniculi is the rabbit and infections usually

Lymphosarcoma in a Rabbit

American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1976
SUMMARY Generalized lymphosarcoma was observed in a 7-month-old New Zealand White rabbit. Numerous grayish white nodules were found in the kidney and liver. The mucosal surface of the stomach was hemorrhagic and ulcerated. Virus-like particles were observed in neoplastic tissue from the kidney on electron microscopic examination.
