Digital elevation models of TanDEM-X mission [PDF]
Started in 2010 TanDEM-X mission (TerraSAR-X add-on for Digital Elevation Measurement) is the first spaceborne radar interferometer mission that acquires interferometric data in bistatic InSAR stripmap mode with two spacecrafts TerraSAR-X (TSTSX) and ...

In the InSAR solution, the uneven distribution of permanent scatterer candidates (PSCs) or slowly decoherent filtering phase (SDFP) pixel density in a region of variable radar reflection feature can cause local low accuracy in single interferometry. PSCs

Sea surface height measuring using InSAR altimeter
Satellite altimetry has been widely used in measuring ocean topography from space. The conventional altimeter system is the nadir radar altimeter system which has the limitations of one-dimensional measurement and is unable to get both high temporal and ...

A New Single-Pass SAR Interferometry Technique with a Single-Antenna for Terrain Height Measurements
One of the prospective research topics in radar remote sensing technology is the methodology for designing an optimal radar system for high-precision two-dimensional and three-dimensional image acquisition of the Earth’s surface with minimal ...

Ku Band Terrestrial Radar Observations by Means of Circular Polarized Antennas
This paper reports some experimental results obtained by means of a commercial apparatus used by many researchers and users, where a pair of novel and specifically developed circular polarized antennas, designed to operate with Ku band-terrestrial radar ...

Landslides are widespread geological features in Italy’s Northern Apennines, with slow-moving earthflows among the most common types. They develop in fine-grained rocks and are subject to periodic rainfall-induced reactivations alternating to phases of ...

Web-based interactive visualization of PS-InSAR point clouds for education and training [PDF]
In radar remote sensing education and training, only few people have a good knowledge of radar remote sensing and geology, which would be necessary fully analyse the surface motions estimated by persistent scatterer interferometry.

Polarimetric optimisation in radar interferometry
A general formulation for vector wave interferometry is outlined and the optimisation problem is then solved, involving maximisation of the phase coherence. In this way it is shown that wave polarisation effects play an important role in the extraction of information from radar interferograms.
