The footbridge Jesípek – application of radar interferometry for dynamic response evaluation

open access: yesActa Polytechnica CTU Proceedings, 2023
Recent advances in radar systems have led to the development of radar interferometry (RI) methods for contactless vibration monitoring of large-scale structures, i.e. bridges, water tower reservoirs, and factory chimneys.

Digital elevation models of TanDEM-X mission [PDF]

open access: yesBiuletyn Wojskowej Akademii Technicznej, 2015
Started in 2010 TanDEM-X mission (TerraSAR-X add-on for Digital Elevation Measurement) is the first spaceborne radar interferometer mission that acquires interferometric data in bistatic InSAR stripmap mode with two spacecrafts TerraSAR-X (TSTSX) and ...

Land Subsidence Monitoring Method in Regions of Variable Radar Reflection Characteristics by Integrating PS-InSAR and SBAS-InSAR Techniques

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
In the InSAR solution, the uneven distribution of permanent scatterer candidates (PSCs) or slowly decoherent filtering phase (SDFP) pixel density in a region of variable radar reflection feature can cause local low accuracy in single interferometry. PSCs

Combining Satellite InSAR, Slope Units and Finite Element Modeling for Stability Analysis in Mining Waste Disposal Areas

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
Slope failures pose a substantial threat to mining activity due to their destructive potential and high probability of occurrence on steep slopes close to limit equilibrium conditions, which are often found both in open pits and in waste and tailing ...

Sea surface height measuring using InSAR altimeter

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2017
Satellite altimetry has been widely used in measuring ocean topography from space. The conventional altimeter system is the nadir radar altimeter system which has the limitations of one-dimensional measurement and is unable to get both high temporal and ...

Polarimetric optimisation in radar interferometry

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1997
A general formulation for vector wave interferometry is outlined and the optimisation problem is then solved, involving maximisation of the phase coherence. In this way it is shown that wave polarisation effects play an important role in the extraction of information from radar interferograms.

Phase interferometry for approach radars

open access: yes2017 International Symposium ELMAR, 2017
This paper discusses the design of an interferometrie system that the role of a passive precision approach radar should perform. The brief overview of requirements for precision approach radar parameters is presented. The proposal of an interferometric system for a multi-base phase interferometer is described.

A mathematical perspective on radar interferometry

open access: yesInverse Problems & Imaging, 2022
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>Radar interferometry is an advanced remote sensing technology that utilizes complex phases of two or more radar images of the same target taken at slightly different imaging conditions and/or different times. Its goal is to derive additional information about the target, such as elevation.
