“Getting along” and “using evidence”: Elementary engineering as contentious practice
Abstract Elementary engineering, as an emergent or “contentious” practice, is fertile ground for cultural analysis. Contentious practice (Holland, D., & Lave, J. (2001). History in person: Enduring struggles, contentious practice, intimate identities.

How can a Cognitive Radar Mask its Cognition? [PDF]
We study how a cognitive radar can mask (hide) its cognitive ability from an adversarial jamming device. Specifically, if the radar optimally adapts its waveform based on adversarial target maneuvers (probes), how should the radar choose its waveform parameters (response) so that its utility function cannot be recovered by the adversary.

An anti‐jamming method in multistatic radar system based on convolutional neural network
For the existing jamming discrimination methods on the multistatic radar system, the single feature of target echo space correlation is utilised as the metric, which leads to the lack of comprehensive feature extraction and universal discrimination ...

‘Why Is the Chubby Guy Running?’: Trans Pregnancy, Fatness, and Cultural Intelligibility
ABSTRACT Since the late 2000s trans pregnancy has received increasing public and academic attention, and stories of the ‘pregnant man’ have become a media staple. Existing research has critiqued such spectacularization and the supposed tension between maleness, masculinity, and pregnancy that underpins it.

Deceptive multiple false targets jamming recognition for linear frequency modulation radars [PDF]
This study considers the problem of deceptive multiple false targets jamming recognition. Due to the different modulation patterns, there is a great difference in fast‐time frequency spectrum or slow‐time Doppler spectrum between the different types of jammings.
