Measurement and Analysis in Radar Polarimetry

1992
In this paper we consider methods for the measurement and analysis of polarimetric target information. We concentrate on three main areas; the design of a single channel real time Stokes receiver, conditions for physical realisability of the Stokes reflection matrix and a generalisation of the optimum polarisation theory of Kennaugh and Graves to the ...

Weibull Distribution in Radar Polarimetry

1992
Most of the clutter received by a pulse radar obeys Weibull distribution with various values of the shape parameters. Rice crop field was measured using an FM-CW radar with a frequency of 9.6 GHz, frequency excursion 200 MHz, modulation frequency 850 Hz, horizontal and vertical polarizations, transmitter power 13 dBm and horn antenna.
