Motion Mitigation Techniques for Abdominal and Cardiac MR Imaging
ABSTRACT MRI of the heart and abdominal organs provides unparalleled soft tissue contrast and quantitative biomarkers, yet remains highly susceptible to physiological motion. Contractions of the myocardium, respiratory excursions, peristalsis, vascular pulsatility, and unpredictable bulk patient movement generate artifacts that impair image quality ...

Highly Versatile Real‐Time Optical Noise Filtering Through Temporal Cloaking
Conventional bandpass filtering strategies may be insufficient for recovering optical waveforms under extremely noisy conditions. We demonstrate a temporal‐cloaking denoising strategy enabled by the temporal Talbot effect, which concentrates the coherent signal of interest into short temporal slots while broadband noise remains temporally spread.

Adaptive Waveform Design for MIMO Radar-Communication Transceiver [PDF]
The system architecture for an adaptive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar-communication transceiver is proposed. A waveform design approach for communication data embedding into MIMO radar pulse using M-ary position phase shift keying (MPPSK) waveforms is introduced. A waveform optimization algorithm for the adaptive system is presented.

Portable Radar for Noncontact Heart Rate Monitoring and Estrus Detection in Dairy Cows
This study introduces a portable radar system for real‐time monitoring of respiratory and heart rates in dairy cows. It uses millimeter‐wave Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar to perform noncontact physiological sensing, reducing behavioral disturbance. The radar system's design prioritizes portability, cost‐effectiveness, and robustness,

Information theoretic waveform design with applications to adaptive‐on‐transmit radar
The marginal Fisher information (MFI) metric is used to design waveforms for the sake of informationally optimal adaptive‐on‐transmit radar operation. A framework for MFI waveform design is developed and the Polyphase‐Coded FM (PCFM) waveform model is ...
