Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

This paper presents a novel deep reinforcement learning based extended fractal radial basis function (DRL‐EFRBF) network for accurate state‐of‐charge (SOC) estimation in lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. Unlike conventional methods such as open

Exciton Binding Energy of Phosphorescent Emitter Molecules in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes
Energy level alignment is key to efficient OLED design, yet determining LUMO energies remains challenging. A methodology based on field‐induced dissociation and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations is presented to extract LUMO energies of iridium‐based phosphorescent emitters from their exciton binding energy.

Nonlinear Image Restoration Using a Radial Basis Function Network
We propose a nonlinear image restoration method that uses the generalized radial basis function network (GRBFN) and a regularization method. The GRBFN is used to estimate the nonlinear blurring function.

Solution‐processed Cu(bdc) forms prototypical MOF thin films for which a multitude of not fully satisfactory structural models have been suggested. Combining rotating grazing‐incidence diffraction and X‐ray reflectivity on two complementary samples with density‐functional theory, we first discard the previously suggested models and then identify a non ...

On Quasi-interpolation with Radial Basis Functions
The author shows that infinite linear combinations of translates of radial functions can be defined that provide polynomial exactness in spaces whose dimensions are not restricted to a prescribed parity as it was usually assumed. Complete proofs as well as comments and references are presented along the paper.

Single‐crystal gold microplates are high‐performance nanomaterials with an impressive wafer‐based application space. Progress has, however, been tempered by an inability to exert synthetic control over microplate size, shape, and positioning. In this work, control over these parameters is demonstrated using a seed‐mediated synthesis that both confines ...

Dynamic analysis of grouped turbo blades using radial basis function
Eigenvalue problems of grouped turbo blades were numerically formulated using a radial basis function. This study investigated different boundary conditions, which accompany the radial basis function, for transforming partial differential equations of ...

Designed Lewis Acid–Base Passivation for High Performance Perovskite Solar Cells
ABSTRACT Silicon's high cost and long energy payback time remain major barriers to the global expansion of solar power. In contrast, metal–halide perovskites offer abundant, solution‐processable absorbers, and have achieved efficiencies of 25%–30%, positioning them as strong competitors to silicon.

A Dual‐Functional Electrolyte Additive for Highly Reversible Zinc‐Ion Batteries
This study introduces tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) as a dual‐function additive for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. TBAB disrupts the hydrogen‐bond network of water while TBA+ adsorbs on Zn to improve interfacial wettability and regulate Zn2+ flux, resulting in suppressed dendrite growth and parasitic reactions. This synergy extended the lifespan of Zn|
