Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Distributed Optimal Power Flow Algorithm for Balanced Radial Distribution Networks

open access: yes, 2014
The optimal power flow (OPF) problem is fundamental in power system operations and planning. Large-scale renewable penetration in distribution networks calls for real-time feedback control, and hence the need for fast and distributed solutions for OPF. This is difficult because OPF is nonconvex and Kirchhoff's laws are global.

Improved load flow formulation for radial distribution networks

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, 2019
This paper aims to provide an improved load flow formulation for solving load flow problem in radial distribution networks. The improved algorithm is formulated from the basic Kirchoff’s voltage law. The proposed method does not need any matrix multiplication, and the voltage equation is derived to compute the voltage at each node.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

The Application of an Optimised Proportional–Integral–Derivative–Acceleration Controller to an Islanded Microgrid Scenario with Multiple Non-Conventional Power Resources

open access: yesInventions
Presently, numerous non-conventional power resources have been applied in power system networks. However, these resources are very effective in islanded microgrid (IMG) scenarios for addressing numerous operational challenges.

Flexibility and Dynamicity Enhances and Controls Supramolecular Self‐Assembly of Zinc(II) Metallogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc(II) coordination complexes with tunable aryloxy‐imine ligands exhibit controllable supramolecular self‐assembly into hierarchical fibrous structures. Coordination‐driven stacking, not π–π interactions, enables gelation, dynamic assembly/disassembly, and enhanced nanomechanical properties.

Multi-objective DG placement in radial distribution systems using the IbI logic algorithm

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
This paper presents a unique optimization method based on the incomprehensible but intelligible-in-time (IbI) logic algorithm (ILA) to optimally place dispersed generators in small, medium, large, and very large (16-, 33-, 69-, and 118-bus) radial ...

Stability issues in presence variable distributed generation into radial distribution network

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Related to environmental issues resulting from the use of traditional energy sources, drive usage of renewable energy is increasing. Changes in the structure of the network will certainly affect the changes in voltage stability.

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...
