Radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy in flexor tendon pathology of the hand: A feasibility study
Technology and Health Care, 2020BACKGROUND: Radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy (rESWT) is an effective and safe non-invasive therapeutic option for various musculoskeletal pathologies. However, data on possible application of radial extracorporeal shock waves (rESWs) on soft tissue components of fingers is still scarce.

Abstract Objective—To measure changes in the modulus of elasticity (E) and describe histologic findings after extracorporeal shock wave therapy and radial pressure wave therapy on equine cortical bone specimens. Sample Population—16 bone specimens from the proximodorsal cortex of an equine third metacarpal or metatarsal bone.

Radial Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy in an Individual With Primary Trigeminal Neuralgia
American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, 2018Abstract A patient with primary trigeminal neuralgia exhibited pain relief without medication after radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy. The 52-yr-old woman had a 3-yr history of primary trigeminal neuralgia, involving the right maxillary division (V2) and the mandibular division (V3). She became refractory to carbamazepine and exhibited

Еffects of radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy on post-stroke hand spasticity
Archives of Public Health,

Effects of radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy on hand spasticity in poststroke patient.
HippokratiaHand spasticity after a stroke greatly increases the difficulties of the daily living activities and limits the effectiveness of rehabilitation. Radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy (RESWT) has been suggested as an alternative treatment for spasticity reduction. We demonstrate the effectiveness of RESWT regarding hand spasticity in a stroke patient.
