APPLICATION OF TDS TECHNIQUE TO MULTIPHASE FLOW EXTENSIÓN DE LA TÉCNICA TDS A FLUJO MULTIFÁSICO

open access: yesCT&F Ciencia, Tecnología & Futuro, 2008
Although, the radial difussivitity equation has been solved for a single-fluid phase flow, in some cases more than one phase flows from the reservoir to the well; therefore, the single-phase solution has been previously extended to multiphase flow ...

Investigation of Oxygen‐Free Wetting Behavior of Aluminum on Copper via Molecular Dynamics Simulations and Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.

Implementation of three-phase transformer model in radial load-flow analysis

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2013
This paper presents an efficient approach for developing three-phase transformer admittance matrices in the radial power-flow analysis. The proposed transformer model overcomes the singularity problem of the nodal admittance submatrices of ungrounded ...

Pyramidal Structures on Yttria‐Stabilized Zirconia after High Temperature Exposure at 1500°C: New Features on an Old Material

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
New features on yttria‐stabilized zirconia after exposure at 1500°C: Newly discovered pyramidal structures on an old material. After exposure at 1550°C on the cross section of YSZ new features, namely pyramidal structures are discovered. These structures grow with time, increase in numbers, appear as singularities, are often arranged in strings, and ...

A Simplified Laminar Flow Model for the Pultrusion of Glass Fiber/Polyethylene Terephthalate Commingled Yarns

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

PRESSURE AND PRESSURE DERIVATIVE ANALYSIS IN A RESERVOIR WITH A FINITE-CONDUCTIVITY FAULT AND CONTRAST OF MOBILITIES

open access: yesRevista Fuentes El Reventón Energético, 2013
Finite-conductivity faults present a very unique transient behavior. In general terms, as the fault is reached by the pressure disturbance the pressure derivative falls with forming a straight line with a slope of minus one, then ...
