Proximal Radial Compression Neuropathy
Annals of Plastic Surgery, 2004Proximal radial nerve compression occurs infrequently and is diagnosed successfully even less frequently. A large clinical series of patients with proximal radial nerve compression neuropathy was reviewed to determine better the common symptoms, physical findings, and electrodiagnostic findings, and to identify the predictors of better or worse outcome

Isolated neuropathy of the cutaneous branch of the radial nerve is a rarely recognised condition. Five cases were described in 1932 by Wartenberg, who suggested the name cheiralgia paraesthetica. The condition has also been described as Wartenberg's disease. Twelve cases of isolated neuropathy of the cutaneous branch of the radial nerve are described,

Radial Compression Neuropathy in Advanced Parkinson's Disease
Archives of Neurology, 1985Radial compression neuropathy developed in four patients with advanced Parkinson's disease. Electrodiagnostic studies in two patients documented the upper middle part of the arm as the site of nerve injury. The conditions of three patients improved over four months.

Radial nerve in the radial tunnel: Anatomic sites of entrapment neuropathy
Clinical Anatomy, 2003AbstractCommon anatomical structures that can lead to radial nerve entrapment in the radial tunnel (radial tunnel syndrome) were studied in 46 embalmed cadaveric upper limbs. After dissecting the radial tunnel, we investigated: the radial nerve and its division into superficial and deep (DBRN) branches; the course of the DBRN in relation to the ...

Compressive radial neuropathies.
Instructional course lectures, 2000Radial neuropathy can have one of several clinical presentations, depending on the level of compression: high radial nerve palsy, PIN palsy, radial tunnel syndrome, and Wartenberg's syndrome. Elucidating the history and progression of symptoms with a physical examination directed at testing individual muscles will determine the approximate anatomic ...

Compression neuropathy of the radial palmar thumb nerve
Chirurgie de la Main, 2004Compression neuropathy of a single digital nerve is a rare entity. We report the case of a patient with numbness in the distribution of the radial digital nerve of the thumb caused by the use of a walking stick. The nerve was compressed between the handle of the stick, the loop and the radial sesamoid bone of the first metacarpophalangeal joint.
