Crease‐Encoded Soft Origami Chambers: A Unified Design‐to‐Fabrication Framework for Low‐Pressure Pneumatic Joints

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Origami turns a single silicone chamber into three different soft fluidic actuators. Crease angles alone decide whether it elongates, bends, or twists, and the fully folded chambers are cast monolithically in one day. Below 15 kPa, they reach 268% axial stretch, 72° bending, and 55° twist—no strain‐limiting layers, no rigid reinforcements, no vacuum ...

PRISM, a Bidirectional NMR Foundation Model: From Peak List to Structure and Back

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Structure elucidation from NMR can consume an expert for hours or even days. PRISM addresses this with a bidirectional transformer trained on 1.19 M real experimental spectra: it translates 1H and 13C peak lists into structures with 60.1% stereo‐aware top‐1 accuracy (72.5% stereo‐unaware), and, working in reverse, predicts spectra back from structures,

3D Closed‐Loop Navigation of Magnetic Microswimmers Using Vision‐Derived Depth Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A planar magnetic microswimmer is navigated in three dimensions under a standard microscope. Image defocus supplies a real‐time depth cue, and model‐predictive control with A* planning steers the body on surfaces and in free swimming. Axial position is regulated by propulsion alone, without magnetic field gradients or extra cameras.

Chalcogen‐Bond‐Driven Electrochemical Bromide Sequestration in Benzothiazole‐Functionalized Covalent Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
To address the unresolved challenge of selective bromide removal from reverse‐osmosis permeate, we developed benzothiazole‐functionalized COF/rGO electrodes that exploit directional chalcogen bonding to preferentially capture Br− over Cl−. The mesoporous BTzTp@rGO electrode achieved a maximum Br− uptake of 36.7 mg g−1, a Br−/Cl− selectivity factor of ...

Hydrogen‐Bonding Order Associated With Radical Delocalization in Layered Organic Cathode Materials

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
“TAQ” and TAPT share the same pyrazine‐based molecular structure but differ in degree of crystallinity. Combined x‐ray scattering, solid‐state NMR, MicroED, and EPR reveal that “TAQ”'s higher crystallinity and ordered hydrogen‐bonding network are associated with enhanced radical delocalization and conductivity, highlighting structural order as a design

Coordinating Mesopore Geometry and Interfacial Water Dynamics for Iron‐Site Evolution in Nitrate Electroreduction

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Mesopore geometry programs the working‐state interface of Fe single sites during nitrate electroreduction. Hexagonal channels reorganize interfacial water and accompany the reversible evolution of isolated Fe─O4‐like sites toward Fe─O─Fe‐like motifs, promoting successive hydrogenation toward NH3 with a Faradaic efficiency of 99.1%.
