Abstract Models to generate two-dimensional circular patterns are proposed. The first one generates circular patterns with a finite number of radii and growth takes place in parallel along the radii. Examples are given which reflect growth patterns on biological objects.

In this paper, the author considers a planar system of Kepler type with radial symmetry and \(T\)-periodic time dependence given by \[ \ddot x+f(t,|x|)\frac{x}{|x|}=0.\tag{1} \] The typical model is \(f(t,r)=\frac{h(t)}{r^\alpha}-e(t)\) with \(\alpha>0\) and \(h(t),e(t)\) \(T\)-periodic functions.
