A study of variations in radial wrist extensors
Background and Aim Supernumerary muscles and tendons from extensor carpi radialis longus (ECRL) and extensor carpi radialis brevis (ECRB) are sometimes encountered during hand surgery.

Decoding the radial velocity variations of HD 41248 with ESPRESSO [PDF]
Context.Twenty-four years after the discoveries of the first exoplanets, the radial-velocity (RV) method is still one of the most productive techniques to detect and confirm exoplanets. But stellar magnetic activity can induce RV variations large enough to make it difficult to disentangle planet signals from the stellar noise. In this context, HD 41248

A Cadaveric Study of Superficial Palmar Arch with Surgical Importance [PDF]
Introduction: Arterial supply of hand is by two arterial anastomotic arches formed by radial and ulnar arteries and their branches. The anastomoses between the branches of radial and ulnar arteries such as palmar carpal and dorsal carpal arches at the

The radial velocity variations of WR46 (WN3p) [PDF]
Spectral observations of the WN3p star WR46 (HD 104994) obtained during June 1993 and January/February 1994 display large amplitude radial velocity variations of the strong emission lines Nv 4603-19Å and HeII 4686A, on a time scale of a fraction of a day.

The radial velocity variations in IC 418 [PDF]
The present observations are part of a search for spectral and radial velocity variations among central stars of planetary nebulae (Méndez 1980). The spectrograms were taken with the image-tube spectrographs of the 1-m and 4-m telescopes at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO). The emulsion was always IIIa-J baked in “forming gas” (N2+H2).

Radial variation of Bloch functions [PDF]
\textit{J. M. Anderson} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 249, 83-91 (1971; Zbl 0222.46036)] conjectured that for any conformal map \(\varphi\) in the unit disc there exists a direction \(\beta\), \(0 \leq \beta \leq 2\pi\), such that \(\int_{0}^{1} |\varphi ''(re^{i\beta}) |dr< \infty\).

Radial artery duplication: Unusual point-of-care-ultrasonography finding during arterial cannulation
The radial artery is the most common choice for arterial cannulation, coronary interventions, and various interventional radiological procedures. Here, we describe a case of unilateral duplication of the radial artery detected during radial artery ...

CFD simulation of flow patterns in unbaffled stirred tank with CD-6 impeller [PDF]
Understanding the flow in stirred vessels can be useful for a wide number of industrial applications. There is a wealth of numerical simulations of stirring vessels with standard impeller such as Rushton turbine and pitch blade turbine.
