Radiation control of refractories

Refractories, 1990
X-ray and electron-x-ray methods of control are useful for detecting the main types of defects in refractories for MNLZ (continuous casting). The sensitivity of the control corresponds to the requirements of refractories. X-ray control of refractories may be carried out on the x-ray-television introscope RI-60TK and the electron-x-ray equipment ERGA-03.

Control of radiation damage in the TEM

Ultramicroscopy, 2013
The problem of electron-beam damage in the transmission electron microscope is reviewed, with an emphasis on radiolysis processes in soft materials and organic specimens. Factors that determine the dose-limited resolution are identified for three different operational modes: bright-field scattering-contrast, phase-contrast and dark-field microscopy ...

Procedure for controlling a radiation source and controllable radiation source

1988
The present invention concerns a procedure for controlling a radiation source which has been implemented with the aid of light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, from the radiation produced by them being separated the desired wavelength range, of which the intensity is controlled or maintained constant. The radiation source is implemented by means of a LED row (

Controlling the Radiation of Heat

2005
Abstract One essential role of a building in providing thermal comfort is controlling the flow of thermal radiation to and from the human body. Sometimes a building must protect the body from an excessive influx of radiant heat from the sun or from sun-warmed objects. At other times, protection is needed to prevent an excessive radiation
